I’ll admit it. I’m getting a hardon just looking at this thing. Its like something out of The Matrix, but the thing that really blows me away; 4K video resolution (HD is for kids) at frame rates from 1-120fps for under $20,000USD. On top of that this little (8 pound) beast is a fully modular creature, meaning… well shit, the accessories and mounting options will be pretty near infinite.
Of course $20,000 is still nothing to laugh at, though its a huge drop from its nearest current competitor in its class. One also wonders whether anyone outside of big time feature films really needs 4K video.
Its unlikely I’ll be toting this like Neo’s personal videographer any time soon, but it will change the video acquisition landscape.
